The derby will be held Oct. 31st with closing time at 8:00 AM. Come out and run your hounds, there are plenty of rabbits this year!
NEW MEETING CHANGES
Beginning in November meetings will be held 4 times a year on Saturday nights at 7:00 PM. It will be the first Saturday of the month. This will mean the Nov., Feb., May, and August meetings will be held the 1st Sat of the month. All other monthly meetings will be held at the regular 1st Tuesday of the month. This will allow individuals whom work late or have to work overtime to attend.
We are in the process of securing some new running grounds to run a class or so on for the Dec. trial if all works out this spot is hot! This subject always seems to fall on deaf ears. We still need more grounds and need someone to step up and help out the club. Please keep your eyes open we can always use another good spot! This is not one or two people’s responsibility it is everyone’s!
We have welcomed several new members to the club this year and look forward to seeing them around for them at the derby and at the licensed trial in December. We can always use the help.
As our fall derby and trial rolls around your help is much needed. This is our time to show case Central KY Beagle
Club. To do so we need as many members present to help with the trial as possible. Friday of the licensed trial always proves to be a tough day with two classes running. We need plenty of people to be present to support a good field trial committee at both running grounds during this day. It also seems Sunday is a day everyone seems to be tired and forget about this day because it is the smallest class. Remember our club is viewed by others by the participation and organization we present to them. Everyone help is desired and needed!!!
Remember to pay your 2009-2010 club dues. Any new member joining from now till the end of the year gets 2010 dues free. So bring a new member to the next meeting.

The March trial according to AKC corresponding dates would be March 26th-28th because the 2010 dog show calendar does not start until 1/9/2010. In 2011 it would adjust itself, I have checked and March 5th -7th is available. This would put us in front of
On Saturday, December 5, 2009 following the 15” male class there will be a pig roast at the club house. Free food, fun & fellowship. Come talk about your hounds and see your friends from all across the association and the country. Jerry Causey has committed to roast the pig.
